Movies that give funny reasons for their G, PG or R ratings?

Postby Hoss1993 on Sun Mar 16, 2008 12:16 pm

You know how on the DVD case or VHS case you see the rating of the movie like PG13 and then in a little box next to it gives a reason why. I was looking at the "Lord of the rings" case and I saw "PG13 for epic battle scenes". What a way to toot your own horn. The only thing epic in it was bilbo going bat shit crazy. So has anyone else seen stuff like this?
DAMN YOU CAPTAIN PLANET!!!

I see so many trailers for kid's movies these days that have a PG rating for "mild peril". Ridiculous.

I had mild peril because I forgot I wasn't watching a kid's movie anymore.
