I'VE BEEN HEARING ABOUT LATELY. WHAT IS IT? WHY'S IT SO GOOD? SHOULD I GO WATCH IT?

It's the first anime I actually watched, back last October. It's really violent and gory, and.........it has a good plot. I don't know what else to say.

SO IT'S WORTH WATCHING? IS IT THE GENERIC 26 EPISODES?

the plot starts out like a generic anime and quickly escalates to a horror movie plot. the plot line changes every few episodes and restartes like nothing happened. its interesting to say the least. but it doesnt always restart without ramifications. soon the main main character, kion, starts remembering these past lives and well... i wont explain anymore, it will ruin it.

this person has every epsiode subtitled. trust me subtitles are better. watch the one without KAI in its name, that is the second season.

and yes it is the generic 26 episodes. however that is the only thing generic about it.

Yeah, basically you could trick someone who doesn't like violence into watching it. It starts off so "happy-go-lucky" and then they get screwed so quickly. I realize it's not very generic at all, it's actually quite original in terms of plot.

SO I JUST FINISHED THE FIRST STORY ARC. PRETTY COOL. GUESS I'LL FINISH IT. SO EACH ARC IS 4 EPISODES, AND THERE'S 6 SCENARIOS... AM I RIGHT?

yeah, pretty nifty. anyway, sometimes it deviates from the beaten path and goes for 6, 8, or even 4, episodes. it all dpends who the main character is.

Quite possibly one of my favorite series.

Second season is alright, loses a lot of the horror feel and it becomes more "MAN I HOPE WE SOLVE THIS MYSTERY." Although it makes all the awesome minor characters from the first season more awesome.

read the manga for it too, it shows a few of the arcs they didn't cover in the TV series.
